First, the tension-packed Inside Man with a stellar supporting cast of some of our favorite actors, including Jodie Foster, Clive Owen, and Willem DeFoe.
Second and so much more apropos to the awful week we have had since the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis police and the ensuing protests and lack of national leadership: Malcolm X. This is one of Elaine’s favorite movies and well worth a watch or re-watch this week.

The Los Angeles Police Department called actor Denzel Washington a “good Samaritan” for helping out a distressed man who was caught in a busy intersection, according to the actor’s representatives.
